A new puzzle every day
Find the connecdle(connection)
Four words share one specific link. Type it in your own words — the more precise, the better.
More than a word match
One puzzle. Five guesses. Your own words.
Connecdle is a daily lateral-thinking game about finding the most meaningful relationship between four clues. The challenge is not merely spotting a category—it is expressing the exact idea that makes the set satisfying.
01
Look for the precise link
Every clue fits one intended connection. A broad category can be close, but the strongest answer explains why these four belong together.
02
Answer in your own words
There is no multiple-choice list and no exact phrase to memorize. Describe the connection naturally and Connecdle evaluates the meaning.
03
Use the feedback
A close result means you have part of the idea but can be more specific. You get five total attempts to sharpen the connection.
What “specific” means
Imagine the clues are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. “Planets” sees the category, but “the first four planets from the Sun” explains the deliberate set. Connecdle rewards that extra step while still using close feedback to point you in the right direction.
Solve sooner, score higher
A correct first guess earns the most points. Close and incorrect guesses help you reason toward the answer, but only the successful attempt sets your final score.

Built for thoughtful, fair connections
Puzzles aim for accessible knowledge and a rewarding leap of logic, not specialist trivia. Because people phrase the same idea in many ways, the scoring system compares meaning rather than checking one hard-coded sentence. Real guesses are reviewed over time so unclear boundaries and missed paraphrases can improve.
